Keauhou Bay

Our next location to visit is the Sacred Site of Keauhou Bay the birthplace of Kamehameha III, Kauikeaouli, as he was called, was stillborn but brought back to life by a quick-thinking kahuna, or priest, who revived him in that very spring. He went on to become the longest-ruling Hawaiian monarch of all, witnessing major changes in government organization and land ownership.
